Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics简介 Magazine introduction
  • 英文简介

The aim of Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics is a continuous and timely dissemination of innovative, practical and industrial applications of computational techniques to solve the whole range of hitherto intractable fluid mechanics problems. The journal is a truly interdisciplinary forum and publishes original contributions on the latest advances in numerical methods in fluid mechanics and their applications to various engineering fields including aeronautic, civil, environmental, hydraulic and mechanical. The journal has a distinctive and balanced international contribution, with emphasis on papers addressing practical problem-solving by means of robust numerical techniques to generate precise flow prediction and optimum design, and those fostering the thorough understanding of the physics of fluid motion. It is an open access journal. Focal points of the journal are:Innovative computational strategies, architectures, algorithms and techniques for engineering problemsAnalysis and simulation techniques and systemsQuality and reliability, i.e. control of the accuracy, stability and efficiency of computational processNew computing environments such as distributed heterogeneous and collaborative computingAdvanced visualization techniques, virtual environments and prototypingAutomatic generation of model and meshApplication of object-oriented technology to engineering problemsApplications of artificial intelligence, knowledge-based systems, decision-support systems, fuzzy logic, neural networks and evolutionary computationsComputer-aided design and integrated systemsIndustrial experiences in the application of the above techniques, e.g. case studies or bench-marking exercises. The journal publishes research papers, review articles and discussions. Each article published in Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics is published Open Access, which means that, upon payment of an article publishing charge (APC), the article is freely and permanently available on Taylor & Francis Group's online platform http://www.tandfonline.com. There is no additional subscription fee, article pay-to-view fee or any other form of access fee; and no publication embargo is applied. The standard article publishing charge (APC) for this journal is ?1155 / US$1500 / ?1325. Depending on your location these charges may be subject to local taxes.
